Nets and Other Regular Activity

Emergency Services Support Net
A weekly practice net is conducted on the club repeater as a public service to community. The purpose of the net is to maintain an informed and proficient group of operators who are prepared to provide communications and localized information in the event of an emergency situation. The net opens every Tuesday at 18:30 (local) on the 147.000 repeater. All licensed amateur radio operators are welcome and encouraged to participate. This net may be activated in the event of inclement weather conditions or other situations where our services are needed.
GVARC Ragchew Net
The club conducts an informal ragchew net immediately following the ESSN net on the 147.000 repeater. All licensed amateur radio operators are welcome and encouraged to participate.
